Farm Fresh Foods & Fruits

Hempstead is once again on the risewelcoming the return of a food market back into its downtown business district. Farmer's Best Market is making its new home at 42 Main Street―a section of Main Street where many small businesses have already begun to repopulate the once vibrant segment between Fulton Avenue and Front Street. The building was once home to F.W. Woolworth's and then Hempstead Shoppers Mart. This location has seen businesses come and go. However, the recent influx of new restaurants, offices, retailers, and boutique shops have brought with them an outlook full of promise for the years-to-come. 

RCGA Architects-Interior Designers is providing architectural services for the project. They are based in Jamaica, NY and have vast experience as it relates to design and construction of building faƧades. They have rendered the following illustration as a preliminary portrayal of the store's exterior:


Farmer's Best Market expects a grand opening sometime mid-year 2012.
