Mayor Wayne
Hall’s 3rd Annual Senior Picnic was a joyous occasion filled with
dancing, good food and entertainment. The afternoon was supported by our Village Officials,
Parks and Recreation Dept. and organizations like Operation Get Ahead
(OGA). The afternoon entailed a spirited
game of bingo and a delicious lunch. For
the seniors delight, there was a special appearance by original Tuskegee
Airman, Julius Freeman, and gift card raffle drawings. Mayor Wayne Hall thanked the seniors for
their continued support and announced “In honor of his trusted photographer and
friend, Tyree Curry, the annual 5K run would be renamed - The Tyree Curry 5K
Memorial Scholarship Fund Run.”
